Hi bloggers, I am very well now but this week has been so much happening with one thing to another and my mojo is nowhere back just yet so I decided to practise distress ink colouring instead. I had a few Tilda images that I have in a candy win many moons ago but its not suitable for copics until now, distress ink colouring. This is not a card as I have decided to make a monthly calendar for my craft room. I have made April as I have only six colours ink pads so I need to buy more. Here it is and I've not put two holes for book rings until all 12 is made. What do you think of distress colouring?

Hello Bloggers. Sorry for not showing any cards as I've been feeling unwell. I had 3 migranes in a week which is very rare and now still unwell with lightheaded and tickly throat so hopefully get my mojo back by next week. Yesterday I won Paula's Candy which is a nice surprise and cheered me up. Anyway I saw this project while I was blogging, sorry forgot to take note the name. Its a ribbon stand so I ask hubby to make one for me and I painted with Anita's 3D paint. I had this paint many years ago so I don't know why I bought it for. If you fancy one and here are my measurements. The base is 14cm square and the pole is 45cm. The knob again I had it for ages.

I don't have a quick note card so I decided to make a CAS card. I searched for a smaller card and found one, a 5x5 card with envelope to match. I thought I had a 'Hello' sentiment stamp so I struggled for a bit and found the jigsaw punch and decided to use it and run the h and i letters through the computer. Here is the third and last card.

Hi I'm back from my holiday in Scottish Borders. I had a lovely time seeing my aunt and cousin and touring around the area. I finally found the image I wanted for my proud daughter-in-law who passed her Law degree.

This card is for Sketch Saturday #160 ~ Sketch

I found this 'ava grad diploma' digi image from bugaboo. I coloured the image with prismas after a little practice. I hope I have done justice with Prismas fans. I distressed edges with the distresser and matted the card with Basic Grey papers. Computer generated sentiment and cut the V shape with scissors and stuck on a flower from stash.

Good Morning peeps. Hope you had a lovely Mother's day yesterday. I'm told that I will get mine next week when the family comes up but I received a lovely text from my son. What cheered me up was while I was looking at the next challenge at Winter Wonderland that I realised that I won the Top 3 for my Tilda Christmas card. Yay!!! Its very hard to find a suitable image for my grandson as there are so many gorgeous images which are just too cute lol.

Sorry for taking so long to put a card on this blog as I've been away for a few days to spent time with my son and family. Went to see a show called Peter Pan on ice, it was spectaular and I really enjoyed it. I have been feeling rubbish with a flu type viral thingy but much better now. Sorry ladies if I have not left comments or making any cards to you.

Anyway here is a simple card for Less is More challenge ~ Pastel colours. Well I hope its simple enough, lol.

Bugaboo freebie image coloured with copics. I found this pastel paper hidden in a drawer and sorry I don't know where it came from. Computer generated sentiment. Does it look ok as I noticed that I did'nt put a coma bit in 'its'. Ribbon from stash.

I made this card for Less is More #3 ~ One Layer and Spring Time

I stamped the daffodil stamp from Hero Arts and LOTV sentiment below the image and then cut to size. I coloured image with copics. I matted onto green gingham from Crafts Creations and matted onto pre - scored card. I need lots of practice for scoring the edges, lol.

Sorry for the bad photo as the scoring is not showing properly.

Secret Crafters Saturdays challenge #121 ~ stamped flower or digi

I distress edges of cardstock and Basic Grey papers with TH distress tool. My mini sewing machine is not working properly so I machined around the edges without thread and hand stitched it. I coloured Morning Glory image from A passion for stamps with copics and used Large Deckled rectangles nesties. Large butterfly punch from Dovecraft and mini butterfly punch from xcut. Pearls from Wild Orchid Crafts. Computer generated sentiment and circle punch. The tag I got donated and I cut it in half as hinges. Not sure of make of the tags maybe nesties.

A group of trees

I made a few attempts as the ink keeps smudging before I got it right so here is the card for Less is More challenge #2 ~ One Layer with a tree or flower.

I stamped a group of trees image from Crafty Individuals with JH distress ink in walnut stain and then I dabbled the sky ~ JH distress ink in faded jeans with cotton wool. LOTV sentiment stamp.

ABC Christmas challenge - Clean and simple + Sketch

LOTV stamp coloured with copics and Stickles 'Stardust'. I matted Dovecraft papers onto Gold mirror cardstock. I used last bit of ribbon from stash and nesties 'Blossom' also the largest tag from the multi tags punch stamped with LOTV sentiment stamp. I dabbled tag with TH distress ink 'Walnet stain'. I wanted to used the gold thread for the tag but I can't find it so I covered it instead.

Less is more Challenge #1

This is a new challenge 'Less is more' and I thought it would be a great challenge to make a simple card but oh my gosh its hard, it really is out of my comfort zone.

I searched for a suitable stamp and sentiment in my wee craft space. Eventually I found these stamps and I think I got them free from a magazine and I also add a bit of dovecraft ribbon. I coloured the flowers with copics.

I matted pink paper which I found in a drawer (stickles round the edges) and Papermania cardstock. This is the first time I used Hero Arts stamp which i received as gift for my birthday and coloured with copics. I used Nesties 'Blossom' and chalked round the edges. The lace, flowers and pearls are from Wild Orchid Crafts, Dovecraft butterfly punch and I stamped LOTV sentiment straight on the card.

I matted Basic Grey papers and Papermania cardstock. One of my favourite WOJ stamp 'Willow with hot chocolate' and coloured with copics. I used Nesties ~ Lables Three, L-Em leaf punch and ribbon from stash. I made a group of flowers and s swirl of pearls from Wild Orchid Crafts and stamped LOTV sentiment straight on to card.

I followed a sketch but I can't find the challenge. Must have seen the sketch on another crafter's blog, anyway the sketch is slightly different to my card. It suppose to have 3 flowers below the image which had no room for the middle flower because of Tilda's legs are getting in the way.

I matted Basic grey papers onto papermania cardstock and also used MS Scallop Dot punch for border. I coloured Tilda image with copics and chalked the edges. I used 'out of the box' technique with 'Blossom' nesties and matted onto cardstock (same nesties). I used L-Em punch for fern leaves and WOC flowers. I got the free sentiment from a craft magazine . There is no sunshine this morning to take a decent photo so sorry for the dull photo. I followed the sketch at LOTV challenge #81.

I matted Basic Grey papers onto papermania cardstock and ribbon from the local shop. I coloured LOTV stamp with copics and chalked around the edges. I used em leaf punch with papermania cardstock, then I put WOC flowers through the hole of the big flat orange from stash and made little curls from the stems . I used LOTV sentiment stamp.

I hand cut the noel letters with papermania cardstock
Three different ribbons, I put the silver ribbon on the card first, next the transparent ribbon with little silver specks then the snow ribbon below.

Well things are back to normal after having my grandson and I enjoyed having him tremendously.
